As we’ve implemented a closure policy at Bloordale during this COVID-19 pandemic, and therefore will not be meeting on Sundays, we want to continue to support your spiritual life by sharing a worship resource each week intended for your personal use.  Please find attached the Worship Service for this Sunday, and share any feedback you may wish by contacting the church office.  Keeping in touch electronically is still a way to let each other know we care, until such time when we can be together again.

We leave you this weekend with a short, poetic and reflective thought, below, that was shared with Rev McIntosh yesterday:

When This Is Over,
May we never again take for granted
A handshake from a stranger
Full shelves at the store
Conversations with neighbours
A crowded theatre
Friday night out
The taste of communion
A routine checkup
The school rush each morning
Coffee with a friend
The stadium roaring
Each deep breath
A boring Tuesday
Life itself

When this ends, may we find that we have become more like the people we wanted to be, we were called to be, we hoped to be, and may we stay that way – better for each other because of the worst.
