Join us for this event at Bloordale United Church featuring three impressive speakers who have demonstrated, in diverse and constructive ways, the power of writing.
They are:
Haroon Siddiqui, who began his career as a newspaper journalist, became the Toronto Star’s Editorial Page Editor, and is now Editor Emeritus. He is a member of the Order of Canada.
Richard Longley, who was a Director/Producer, Writer/Researcher for CBC and has been President of the Architecture Conservancy ON.
Uzma Jalaluddin, who is freelance writer for the Toronto Star, where she has a popular column “Samosas and Maple Syrup”. She has recently published her first novel “Ayesha At Last” and will be reading from it.
